Peykakia is an above-ground station on Line 1 of the Athens Metro, serving the area of Nea Ionia between Perissos and Nea Ionia stations, at kilometre 17.231 from Piraeus. As part of the station's infrastructure refurbishment and upgrade, we undertook the cladding of the platform canopy using a standing seam system, delivering a solution combining high durability, excellent weatherproofing and a contemporary aesthetic — meeting the demands of a busy above-ground urban transit station in daily operation.
